Who you're buying from
Stickmate is made and sold by Precode Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (number 09189974), at Vantage Point, New England Street, Brighton, BN1 4GW, United Kingdom. Email hello@stickmate.app. Payments are taken by Stripe on our behalf.
Free and Pro
Stickmate is free to download and use. Stickmate Pro is a one-off payment that unlocks asking agents inside a note, answering agents' questions with Reply, secret notes and per-word size and colour. It isn't a subscription.
Your licence
Buying Pro gives you a personal licence to use Stickmate Pro on the Macs you use. If a business buys Pro, each person who uses it needs their own licence. Please don't share or resell your licence key. Stickmate remains ours: the licence lets you use it, it doesn't transfer ownership of the software.
Updates
Pro includes every update we release for a year from when you buy it. After that, the version you have keeps working for good. If you want the next year of updates, you can buy it, and it's added to the end of your current year. Free users get every update.
Trying before you buy, and refunds
The free version is there so you can try Stickmate first. When you buy Pro you ask for your licence straight away and agree that you lose the 14-day right to cancel that would otherwise apply, so we don't refund a change of mind.
If Stickmate Pro doesn't work on your Mac as we describe it, email us. We'll try to fix it, and if we can't, we'll refund you in full. None of this affects your statutory rights.
Prices and tax
Prices in pounds and euros include VAT. Prices in US dollars don't include sales tax, which is added at checkout where it applies. You'll get a VAT invoice by email.
Agents and third-party services
Agent replies run on the Claude Code installed on your Mac, under your own account with Anthropic, and are billed by them. We don't see what you send. Check what an agent writes before you rely on it.
Our responsibility
We make Stickmate with care, but we can't promise it will be free of faults, and you should keep copies of anything important. We're not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, or for business losses. Nothing here limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protections of the law where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
